The images in this piece of artwork were juxtaposed very nicely. It is trying to show a comparison between the two female forms whether they are the same person or not. When they are put at these particular angles it makes you wonder what the artist is trying to show here. I think that the color mask that he put over everything really helps this piece because it shows like a calm friendship that these two are having. He’s trying to show the positive aspects of some or all relationships by showing these two figures next to each other like this. When you show two images next to each other like this and their eyes are facing each other you can only wondering what they are thinking about the other one. It really makes you wonder what kind of relationship both of this people have with each other. Is it a loving one or a hating one? You can tell that by the color mask that he put on over the two female figures. It could also be seen as a competitive relationship almost like each one is trying to one up the other one because they aren’t directly face to face.
